Juvenile Goshawk

There are many other birds at the refuge besides the Snow geese and Sandhill cranes. They include eagles, herons, song birds, owls, and hawks like this juvenile goshawk. While certainly not tame they do seem to have acclimated to people being around and consequently they are highly visible throughout the day.
