Power - Focus - Determination - Sandhill cranes in flight

These Sandhill cranes are strong fliers with a wide wingspan and powerful muscles perfectly suited for long distance flying. When they fly they fly in a straight line and rarely deviate from their chosen course unless something interferes with them. At Bosque del Apache you frequently get to see them close up, and at a low enough level, that you can really see how beautifully they move through the air.
