France 020 - Offerings at Procope - The oldest restaurant in Paris

Legend has it, at least the legend as told to me by my wife as she read it from one of the guide books that she is never without, is that this is one of the oldest restaurants in Paris, if not the entire cosmos, that has existed in the same place, in continuous operation, ever. This means that people, most likely French people, ate there before going off to cheer at the guillotinings, or before going to the airport to see the first takeoff of the Concorde, or during the dark days of WWll. The sense of history there was almost as real as the food. Plus the food items on display were absolutely incredible. If you ever go to Paris, go here.
