France 137 - Galerie d' Apollyon - the Louvre

As we walked along one of the long hallways going from here to there, I noticed a heavy expandable iron door barrier, the kind they use to close up tattoo parlors in New York City at night. The openings in the barrier were very small, about two inches in width, and in a diamond shape. Behind that barrier was the most beautiful room in the world. The whole world. Name a place, it doesn't matter, it doesn't have a room this beautiful. They had just emptied it out and closed it for an extensive remodeling and refurbishment. I stuck my camera up to the barrier so that the lens just fit through one of the openings and took this picture. I never saw what they had displayed in this gallery but as far as I was concerned they never had to put another thing back in it, ever, and it would be just perfect for me. You know those dream houses you build in your mind, well mine is going to have this room in it.
