France Tn pg1 text

In the Spring of 2001 Cynthia and I took a vacation in France to see Paris and visit friends in the Loire valley. It was the trip of a lifetime. The weather was perfect, the people were perfect, the sites were spectacular, it could not have been a better experience. There may be better places on earth than France in the springtime but we haven't visited them yet.

All of the pictures in this section were taken with a 3meg Nikon 990 camera, state of the art then but eclipsed many times over by the gear that is available now. I have made 16x24 in. prints from these "small" files that are very acceptable images.

Enjoy this visit to France and if you have any questions, comments, critiques, or compliments send me an e-mail. I like getting mail. Next time when we visit it will be Provence and the south of France.
